Authentic Mexican Cuisine

Celebrating 35 Years of Excellence

Westchester Health & Life (February 2009)

  • A fine fiesta – Head to Don Emilio at Lobo’s Café in Chappaqua for a memorable Mexican meal.
  • On a bustling Saturday evening, we were promptly seated and given heaping bowls of chips and salsa as we perused the impressive menu. “Do you have any questions?” we were asked by owner Don Emilio Martinez - an inquiry he repeated to each table that night. Our attentive waiter had already taken our drink orders, so we assured Martinez that we were content.
  •  But “content” was soon upgraded to “excited” with the arrival of our quesados.

My husband and I went last night and had a good experience. We were 10 minutes early for our 8:00 reservations. (After reading the post I was nervous about being late and having to wait) We were seated immediately and given tasty tortillas and delicious salsa. I had a "sopa de lima" and chicken enchiladas suizas, which were both very good. I was impressed with how authentic and fresh the food tasted. I also had the mexican crepes which I highly recommend. Our bill was $95 for: 4 drinks, 2 appetizers, 2 entrees and 1 desert.
