Don Emilio at Lobo's Cafe
Restaurateur Don Emilio, previously host at Sunset Grille in White Plains and formerly owner of Don Emilio’s in Larchmont and Stamford, CT, has opened this authentic Mexican 60-seat eatery in the space of Lyla’s Café. Two chefs man the kitchen: Jose Gonzalez, formerly of Don Emilio’s in Larchmont, and Jose Ramirez, last a sous chef at Sunset Grille. Dinner entrées include broiled salmon steak in a mango sauce, skewered char-broiled filet mignon, Veracruz-style baked snapper, and enchiladas Poblanas. Lunch and dinner every day, brunch ($14.95) on Sat and Sun.
